A leading global bank is looking for an AI Solution Architect to join a major Gen AI transformation programme across EMEA. This is a design and governance-focused role — ideal for an architect who leads on solution design, technical review and stakeholder engagement rather than hands-on coding.

You'll design Gen AI solution architectures (RAG, agentic patterns, LLM integration), lead architecture review boards, and set the governance standards that engineering teams build against. You'll be the technical voice in front of senior business and technology stakeholders — translating complex AI concepts into clear, actionable guidance.
What You'll Do
- Design end-to-end Gen AI architectures across Azure/AWS and hybrid on-prem/cloud environments
- Lead technical design reviews and ARB sessions
- Define AI governance, model risk and responsible AI standards
- Set reusable design patterns for RAG, prompt engineering and LLM integration (MCP, A2A)
- Act as the technical bridge between business, cloud and delivery teams
- Guide engineering teams on implementation — without being hands-on delivery yourself
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record as an AI/Solution Architect (not primarily a hands-on engineer)
- Experience in regulated, multi-entity financial services environments
- Strong enterprise architecture governance background (ARBs, design authorities, risk sign-off)
- Solid understanding of Gen AI/LLM concepts — RAG, agentic architectures, prompt engineering
- Excellent stakeholder management and business communication skills
- Experience with Azure AI services (Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, AI Search) desirable
