This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone who has built enterprise-grade software or SaaS products in startup environments and knows how to take systems from early design through production hardening and scale. The right person can architect the core platform, work closely with product and engineering leaders, and help build the technical foundation for a category-defining enterprise AI company.
What You’ll Do
- Architect an enterprise-grade, multi-tenant cloud platform for agentic AI applications and end-user products.
- Design systems that ingest and unify CRM, Slack, email, calendar, and other structured and unstructured data into a usable intelligence layer.
- Build the platform foundations for multi-agent, multi-tenant LLM systems, including orchestration, context handling, tool use, governance, and observability.
- Define how agents monitor activity, identify what users should care about, and generate reports, recommendations, and workflow triggers.
- Partner with product and design to turn advanced AI capabilities into reliable, operationally consumable enterprise software.
- Establish platform standards for security, tenant isolation, auditability, performance, and long-term scale.
- Help professionalize and scale the engineering platform as the company grows from early stage to enterprise maturity.
- 10 years of experience in software engineering, platform architecture, or enterprise systems development, with meaningful experience in startups building enterprise-grade software or SaaS products.
- Strong hands-on coding ability in Python, Golang, TypeScript, or similar languages used for distributed systems, APIs, integrations, and AI-enabled platforms.
- Direct experience designing, architecting, and engineering multi-agent, multi-tenant agentic or LLM solutions in production environments.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture, APIs, orchestration layers, observability, governance, and secure enterprise platform design.
- Experience building systems that combine structured and unstructured enterprise data into intelligent workflows, reporting, or decision support products.
- Familiarity with AI-native engineering tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, or similar environments used to accelerate development and architectural reasoning.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead through ambiguity on a small, high-talent team.
You’ll join a tiny team with strong design partners, real product ambition, and the capital to build thoughtfully. This is a chance to shape the platform, technical standards, and product architecture behind a new generation of enterprise AI software centered on agentic workflows and operational intelligence.
