Supporting senior operational leaders, you'll play a key role in driving financial performance, shaping strategic decisions and ensuring robust forecasting and reporting across a complex operation.
This is a role for someone who enjoys being at the heart of the business rather than purely behind a spreadsheet. You'll need the confidence to challenge stakeholders, influence decision-making and provide clear recommendations that drive action.
The Role Key responsibilities include:
- Leading budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes
- Delivering accurate and insightful financial reporting and analysis
- Business partnering senior operational and supply chain leaders
- Identifying risks, opportunities and areas for performance improvement
- Supporting investment decisions through robust financial modelling and business cases
- Driving cost optimisation initiatives and operational efficiencies
- Ensuring strong financial controls, governance and forecasting accuracy
- Presenting clear and concise commentary to senior stakeholders
You'll be:
- A strong relationship builder who can quickly establish credibility with stakeholders
- Comfortable challenging the status quo and saying "no" when required
- Commercially minded with the ability to translate numbers into meaningful business insight
- Confident presenting financial information to non-finance audiences
- Experienced in budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting
- Highly analytical with strong Excel and modelling capability
- Able to balance attention to detail with a focus on the bigger picture
