AI Engineer

AI Engineer – 6 months contract – Financial Services – 6 months +

My client, an international Bank, are looking for an AI Engineer on an initial 6 month contract. They are beginning to build out their internal AI capability across trading and sales and need an AI Engineer to help build, mature and roll out their internal AI platform.
 
Urgent start, huge impact, small high-visibility team reporting into the newly appointed Head of AI.

You'll be:

 - Building and improving GenAI apps, agentic workflows and bond pricing tool.
 - Turning prototypes into production-ready products
 - Integrating AI into existing trading/sales systems


You'll need:

 - Strong financial services background (comfortable in a large investment bank)
 - Python/Java (C++ a plus), SQL
 - Experience building agentic AI apps & dynamic prompt engineering
 - Azure/AWS/Snowflake
 - Git, TeamCity or similar CI/CD
 
The role is looking to pay £800 per day (inside IR35) and will require 3 days per week onsite in their central London office.
