The Application Asset Intelligence (AAI) workstream is creating a trusted, governed application intelligence capability that gives an authoritative view of the application estate. This work includes creation of the core application data assets, supporting data standards, ownership and lifecycle records, reporting capability, and the tooling required to manage and maintain them. Each role contributes directly to the design, build, population, validation or implementation of these assets and their associated deliverables. You will be primarily deployed on AAI but may support other Applications Programme capital outputs as priorities require.
DEFINED CAPITAL OUTPUTS / ASSETS
The following products must be created or materially advanced by 31 March 2027:
- Validated Application Records — complete, quality-assured records for all in-scope applications held within the AML, meeting agreed data standards.
- Data Quality Reports — repeatable reporting that evidences completeness, accuracy and outstanding gaps across the created inventory.
- Data Standards Documentation — documented naming conventions, field definitions and entry standards to support ongoing maintenance of the asset.
- Data Migration Package — a structured export or migration of AML data into the target tooling platform once procured.
- Create and update application records in line with the agreed data model and standards.
- Validate data with application owners and technical teams so the AML can operate as a reliable asset.
- Identify and resolve gaps or inconsistencies that reduce the quality of the inventory.
- Produce data quality evidence that supports acceptance of the created asset.
- Maintain documentation of data standards and entry conventions for handover and future use.
- Support the Business Analysts in building the AML and build towards related ownership/lifecycle dataset.
