Job description

Junior Planner - Transport / Rail

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update integrated project plans, schedules, and dependencies (MS Project)
  • Providing suitable PM challenge on variances associated with delays, duration changes and tasks that are not on-track.
  • Ensure all project variances/discrepancies are recorded within MSP.
  • Maintain a project start baseline and a weekly baseline position.
  • Lead planning and risk review discussions with stakeholders.
  • Provide suitable PM challenge on the project risks and update the risks according.
  • Present plan updates at the TOC weekly meeting.
  • Produce high-level/detailed plan views for various stakeholder (e.g. TOC, Programme Director, Project Sponsor)
  • Track risks, issues, milestones, and critical path activities.
  • Produce status reports, dashboards, and planning insights for governance and decision-making.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure plans remain accurate and aligned to delivery timelines.
