Backend Java Developer - SC NPPV3

Backend Java Developer | SC Cleared NPPV3 | Contract

We are looking for experienced Backend Java Developers to join a major programme within a secure public sector environment.

The role will involve designing, developing and maintaining backend services and APIs within a complex enterprise application landscape. You will work closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers and technical stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable and high-performing solutions.

Key Skills:

• Strong commercial experience with Java
• Experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs
• Good understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD and containerisation is desirable
• Familiarity with agile delivery environments
• Experience working within secure or public sector environments is beneficial

Required Clearance:

• Active SC Clearance
• Active NPPV3 Clearance

Contract Details:

1. Contract role
2. Inside IR35
3. Hybrid working
