We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions within Microsoft Azure. You will build robust data pipelines using Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory, integrating data from multiple sources while ensuring quality, reliability, and performance. Working closely with Data Scientists and Analysts, you will enable advanced analytics, reporting, and Azure Machine Learning use cases.
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory
- Proven background in data engineering, data integration, and ETL/ELT pipeline development
- Experience designing cloud-based data architectures and implementing best practices
- Knowledge of Azure Machine Learning and analytics platforms
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar data-focused programming language
- Strong troubleshooting, optimisation, and performance tuning skills
- Active UK Security Clearance (SC) – mandatory
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale Azure data solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skill
