Context

Following a multi-billion-euro private equity acquisition, 37 well-known technology brands were separated into independent entities under the Delorean Project. Each business needed to rapidly establish its own data platforms, cloud infrastructure and software engineering capability to operate independently. 

To achieve this at speed, the Europe team was engaged to deliver specialist talent across engineering, data, DevOps and cloud while ensuring strict compliance across multiple European jurisdictions.

Challenge

The newly independent businesses had different priorities and varying levels of readiness. The core challenges were to: 

  • Build a scalable and consistent approach to hiring across 37 decentralised brands 
  • Deliver specialist talent quickly, in high volumes and across multiple countries 
  • Navigate complex regulatory frameworks, particularly compliance in Germany and the Netherlands 
  • Support remote-first delivery models to accelerate onboarding 
  • Adapt talent strategy across a three-year transformation window 

Solution

The Europe team created a coordinated delivery model that offered speed and structure across the programme. 

We established Master Services Agreements with each entity, enabling rapid engagement. Direct planning sessions with Procurement and Programme Leads provided clarity on skill requirements and entity-by-entity roadmaps. 

A compliance-led model ensured correct alignment to three major regulatory environments, supported by a nearshore talent pool that balanced speed, capability and cost.
