The company
My client is a leading UK property developer with a portfolio of impressive developments across the UK. They are currently seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to support the financial management of large-scale residential development projects. Working closely with project leadership and finance teams, you will play a key role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making across major developments.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the financial strategy, forecasting and reporting for development projects
- Maintain accurate profit and cashflow forecasts and financial models
- Provide scenario analysis and financial insight to support strategic decisions
- Monitor development costs, financial performance and key risks
- Ensure strong financial controls, VAT compliance and cost reconciliations
- Prepare monthly reporting and quarterly financial reviews
- Act as a key link between development teams and central finance
- Support project teams to ensure financial considerations drive decision-making
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CA qualified
- Strong financial experience in practice or industry
- Experience in a commercial finance or business partnering role
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to non-finance stakeholders
- Highly organised with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
