The company
Our client is a well-capitalised UK real estate development and investment business delivering large-scale, mixed-use projects in partnership with institutional investors and JV partners. You will join the The Commercial Finance team as a Senior Development Modeller, playing a key role in supporting major investment and funding decisions.
Role & Responsibilies
As Senior Development Modeller, you will sit within Commercial Finance providing specialist modelling support to the Development function. This is a high-visibility role with regular exposure to senior stakeholders. Responsibilites will include:
- Maintaining and enhancing complex development appraisal models
- Running sensitivities and scenario analysis to support decision-making
- Analysing and explaining movements in key financial metrics for Board and JV reporting
- Supporting cashflow forecasting and liquidity analysis
- Partnering with Development, Construction, Finance and Debt teams
- Contributing to budgeting, reforecasting and process improvements
What you need
- Strong financial modelling experience using best-practice principles
- Background in property development, real estate or a capital-intensive sector
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical capability and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate complex financial outputs clearly
- Confident stakeholder engagement skills
