Our client is a large, complex, and highly successful international organisation with operations across multiple regions. Known for its dynamic culture, ambitious growth plans, and best‑in‑class finance function, the business is seeking an experienced Interim Group Accountant to support the Group Finance team during a period of transformation and increased reporting demands.
The Role
As Interim Group Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality consolidated financial reporting and ensuring the smooth running of group-level accounting processes. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-moving, multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidations
- Support statutory reporting and liaise with external auditors
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal reporting standards
- Assist with group balance sheet reviews and technical accounting matters
- Support group forecasting, budgeting, and analytical reviews
- Drive process improvements across consolidation and reporting frameworks
- Partner with divisional finance teams
- Contribute to finance transformation initiatives and system enhancements
About You
We’re looking for a proactive, technically strong finance professional who can hit the ground running.
Ideal Experience:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), preferably Big 4/Top 10 trained
- Proven experience in group accounting within a large, complex, or international organisation
- Strong understanding of IFRS and consolidation principles
- Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities
