Whilst managing a small team of Finance Business Partners, you will work closely with the CFO and Director of Operations to drive strategy, maximise efficiency's and drive the bottom line.
In this hands-on role you will be responsible for:
- Partnering with senior operational leaders across both sites to improve performance and profitability.
- Leading budgeting, forecasting, planning and operational performance reviews.
- Providing clear financial insight, challenge and decision support.
- Driving cost control, KPI accountability and strong financial governance.
- Improving reporting, systems, processes and operational costing.
- Leading and developing the Operational Finance team.
- Playing a key role in new bids and tenders while building costing models for new product launches
- Ensuring oversight of operational finance and checking figures to confirm profitability
- Driving transformation, fostering collaboration, and building trust with stakeholders, as finance is truly valued as the “engine room” of the business
- Supporting and driving strategic projects
You will be a hands on senior Commercial Finance professional with the ability to understand costs within a complex, high volume and low margin manufacturing or food production facility.
