About the Role As a Lead Fullstack Engineer at Hippocratic AI, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI-powered healthcare voice agents through the development of our Generative AI SaaS products. You’ll work across the entire technology stack—front-end and back-end to deliver intelligent, voice-first healthcare solutions that are safe, scalable, and transformative.
This is a highly collaborative role where you will partner with AI researchers, product managers, designers, and healthcare professionals to translate complex requirements into performant, secure, and accessible digital experiences. From crafting seamless mobile interactions to building robust APIs and designing user-facing dashboards, your work will directly impact the way patients and providers engage with AI in clinical and consumer health settings.

What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure B2B SaaS products using TypeScript/React, Material UI, and Python/Flask, with extensions into mobile (Flutter / React Native).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and clinical teams to translate requirements into elegant, user-focused solutions.
- Architect reusable front- and back-end systems, ensuring high performance, reliability, and strong API integrations.
- Own code quality through reviews, testing, and debugging—driving best practices and continuous improvement.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and AI-driven workflows to enhance product capability and developer velocity.
What You Bring Must-Have:
- 5 years of full-stack development experience using TypeScript/React and Python, Ruby, or Node.js backends.
- Strong background in RESTful API design, SQL/Postgres, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Proven ability to architect scalable systems and deliver high-quality, production-grade code.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills in fast-moving environments.
- Familiarity with agile practices and modern DevOps tools (e.g., Terraform, CI/CD, monitoring).
- Experience developing and publishing cross-platform mobile apps using Flutter, React Native, or native iOS/Android SDKs.
- Hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications or integrating generative AI into production systems.
- Familiarity with Flask backends and Terraform/AWS infrastructure
