Key Responsibilities
- Supporting month-end processes including accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
- Assisting with management accounts preparation and variance analysis
- Processing invoices, expenses and maintaining accurate financial records
- Producing regular financial reports for internal stakeholders
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
- Working with non-finance teams to understand costs and performance drivers
- Assisting departmental managers with financial queries and reporting needs
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting efficiency
- Previous experience in a finance or accounts role
- Studying towards (or interested in studying) AAT / ACCA / CIMA
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable communicating with stakeholders outside of finance
- Curious mindset with an interest in understanding the “why” behind the numbers
- Able to balance transactional responsibilities with analytical tasks
