Role Overview

IT Domain Architect – Sales
Department

Enterprise Architecture

Job Summary
The IT Domain Architect Sales will be responsible for ensuring that the architecture of sales aligns with the company’s objectives. This role will focus on aligning technology within the sales and customer relationship management (CRM) functions, enhancing customer and agent engagement, and driving business performance. The IT Domain Architect will also oversee all IT demands from the sales and CRM departments, ensuring the successful integration of systems and platforms, with a particular emphasis on CRM solutions, AI, and digital platforms. Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Architecture Alignment
  • Ensure that the sales and CRM technology architecture aligns with the overall enterprise architecture and business strategy.
  • Develop and maintain architecture blueprints for the Sales and CRM business domains, ensuring that all solutions support the company’s objectives of enhancing customer and agent engagement.
  • Work closely with the VP of Enterprise Architecture to integrate sales systems into the broader enterprise architecture framework.
Sales and CRM System Integration
  • Align the technology stack for Sales and CRM departments with business objectives, enhancing customer engagement, improving sales processes, and supporting business growth.
  • Oversee the architecture and all IT demands from sales and CRM departments, ensuring that CRM solutions like Salesforce, digital platforms, and mobile applications are effectively implemented and maintained.
  • Lead the technical strategy for sales-related systems, ensuring they are scalable.
AI and Process Mining Leverage
  • Explore opportunities to integrate AI and process mining systems to enhance sales and CRM processes, driving efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Work with business stakeholders to identify areas where AI can optimize customer engagement, agent performance, and overall sales effectiveness.
  • Incorporate AI-driven insights into the architecture of sales systems, ensuring data-driven decision-making and improved customer relationship management.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders from the sales, marketing, and CRM departments to gather requirements, share insights, and ensure that the architecture supports business needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the sales and CRM departments regarding IT architecture and system requirements.
  • Ensure transparent and effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery of solutions.
Continuous Improvement and Best Practices
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in CRM, digital platforms, mobile applications, AI, and process mining, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of technology innovation.
  • Regularly review and refine the sales and CRM architecture to ensure it continues to meet business objectives and drive value.
Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • An advanced degree or certification in Enterprise Architecture is preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT architecture, with a strong focus on CRM systems such as Salesforce, digital platforms, and mobile applications.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing CRM solutions that align with business objectives and enhance customer engagement.
  • Experience leveraging AI and process mining systems to optimize sales processes and improve CRM performance.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
  • Deep expertise in CRM systems, especially Salesforce, and their integration with other digital platforms and mobile applications.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use AI and data to drive business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments to ensure technology solutions align with business objectives.
