In this Q&A, we shine a spotlight on Sabri Naouali to learn more about his role, gain insights into the German tech and transformation market, and what makes Investigo Germany a compelling partner for both clients and candidates.

What is your role at Investigo Germany, and which areas do you specialise in?

I’m a Senior Consultant at Investigo Germany, focusing on the recruitment of tech and transformation professionals across the German market.

My core specialism lies in placing experienced profiles within areas such as IT transformation, digital change, SAP, cloud, data, and technology leadership. I work closely with both candidates and clients to understand not just the technical requirements, but also the broader business context behind each hire.

What attracted you to joining Investigo and being part of the Germany launch?

What really attracted me to Investigo was the opportunity to be part of the Germany launch from an early stage. Building something from the ground up, shaping a market entry, and having real ownership over outcomes was a big motivator for me.
Investigo’s strong reputation in the UK, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and a genuine focus on quality, made it a very natural next step for me.

What are you seeing in the German tech/transformation market right now that excites you most?

The German market is currently going through a major technology and transformation shift. Many organisations are actively modernising legacy systems, moving towards cloud-based architectures, and investing heavily in digital transformation initiatives.
What excites me most is that companies are no longer just hiring for skills, they’re looking for people who can drive change, challenge existing processes, and have a real impact on how businesses operate.

What skills or profiles are currently most in demand, and where are companies struggling to hire?

There is particularly strong demand for professionals with experience in SAP transformation, cloud technologies, data & analytics, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture.

Many companies struggle to find candidates who combine strong technical expertise with business understanding and stakeholder management skills. Senior profiles who can bridge the gap between IT and the business remain especially hard to secure.

Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing, or what’s something people might not know about you?

Outside of work, I’m very passionate about sports and competition I enjoy pushing myself, whether that’s through training or setting personal goals.

I also love travelling and experiencing different cultures, which I think helps a lot when working in international and fast-moving environments. I’m naturally curious and always looking to learn something new, both professionally and personally.
