As Investigo Germany continues to expand, we’re proud to introduce the leaders helping to establish our presence across key regions and sectors.

Our team brings deep market expertise across technology, transformation, and leadership hiring - supporting organisations navigating complex change and digital growth.

In this Q&A, we speak with Philipp Fritz, Regional Sales Director at Investigo Germany, about building our presence in Southern Germany, the evolving tech and transformation landscape, and the talent shaping the future of the region.

What is your role at Investigo Germany, and which areas do you specialise in?

As Regional Sales Director at Investigo Germany, I am responsible for building and leading our presence across Southern Germany, with Munich as our key hub.

My focus lies in the Tech, Change and Transformation space - areas that are increasingly shaping how businesses evolve and compete in today’s market. This includes working with organisations and talent across a wide range of technology-driven roles, from programme and project delivery through to digital transformation and IT leadership.

It’s a market I’m genuinely passionate about and one where I see enormous potential - both for Investigo and for the talent and businesses we partner with. Building something from the ground up in such a dynamic region is a real privilege.

What attracted you to joining Investigo and being part of the Germany launch?

The greenfield opportunity initially caught my attention - the chance to build something truly from scratch in a new market is rare, and that kind of challenge is exactly what drives me.

What really sealed the decision, however, was the environment in which that growth is happening. Investigo is an ambitious business with a clear vision, yet it’s one where people and culture are genuine priorities rather than just talking points.

Being part of a launch like this - where you have the freedom to shape something new while being supported by a strong cultural foundation - felt like a unique opportunity I couldn’t turn down.

What are you seeing in the German tech and transformation market right now that excites you most?

What excites me most is the fundamental shift currently taking place in German business culture.

For a long time, knowledge was often viewed as something to be protected rather than openly shared. But that mindset is changing rapidly, driven by the accelerating impact of digitalisation and artificial intelligence.

Companies are beginning to recognise that in order to truly harness the potential of AI and digital transformation, they need to collaborate differently and rethink how they operate at their core.

Germany has traditionally been a market that moves with caution, but the pace of change is accelerating quickly - and the organisations that embrace this shift will shape the next chapter of the German economy.

What skills or profiles are currently most in demand?

Demand is currently centred around a combination of several disciplines that are converging at the same time.

Cybersecurity - particularly within cloud environments - is one of the most pressing areas, as organisations scale their infrastructure faster than they can secure it. There is also a growing need for security expertise related to artificial intelligence as companies begin deploying intelligent systems without always fully understanding the associated risks.

Beyond that, transformation project professionals remain highly sought after as organisations launch large-scale change initiatives.

However, one of the most underestimated challenges is finding strong change management expertise - people who can not only implement new technologies and tools but also bring organisations and their people along on that journey.

Why should candidates and businesses speak to Investigo Germany?

What matters most to me - and what I believe sets Investigo Germany apart - is the way we approach every relationship.

Whether working with a candidate considering their next career move or a business facing a complex hiring challenge, our focus is always on building a partnership based on trust, collaboration and shared goals.

We don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, we take the time to understand the situation in depth and develop strategies together.

At the heart of this is a people-first philosophy. The best outcomes - for both clients and candidates - happen when people are placed at the centre of every decision. What we are building here is not transactional recruitment, but long-term, sustainable partnership.

Outside of work, what do you enjoy doing?

Outside of work, I am first and foremost a proud dad to two wonderful daughters, and spending quality time with them is what I value most.

I also enjoy staying active through sport and have developed a real passion for making homemade pizza in my own pizza oven. What started as a personal hobby has turned into something I genuinely enjoy sharing with others - whether that’s cooking for family and friends at the weekend or hosting pizza evenings for the team.

In many ways, it’s quite fitting. Building Investigo Germany is all about bringing people together - and it turns out homemade pizza does exactly the same thing.
