Job description

Senior Finance Manager – Group Reporting Bedfordshire | Listed Group
£95,000–£105,000 25% Bonus
High‑Impact, C‑Suite Visibility | Best‑in‑Class Environment

Are you a technically exceptional finance leader looking to step into a truly influential, high‑profile Group role within a top‑tier, listed organisation? This is a rare opportunity to join a high‑growth, billion‑pound business offering unmatched exposure, complexity, and the chance to shape the financial narrative at Board level.
We are partnering with a market‑leading, blue‑chip organisation to appoint a Senior Finance Manager – Group Reporting, responsible for delivering world‑class statutory reporting, group consolidation, and financial governance across a portfolio of high‑performing divisions.
This role sits at the heart of the organisation’s financial engine, working closely with the Group Financial Controller, CFO, and wider C‑Suite. It is ideal for a dynamic, ambitious finance professional ready to elevate their career in a fast‑paced listed environment.
The Role As Senior Finance Manager – Group Reporting, you will:
  • Lead the full Group statutory reporting cycle, ensuring high‑quality outputs in line with IFRS and listed‑company requirements.
  • Manage and develop a team of senior Finance Managers embedded across each division, driving consistency and excellence.
  • Oversee group consolidation, month‑end close, and technical accounting matters.
  • Act as a trusted business partner to senior leadership, including direct engagement with the CFO, CEO, and Audit Committee.
  • Bring rigour, challenge, and insight to divisional reporting and performance analysis.
  • Lead improvements across controls, systems, processes, and reporting frameworks.
  • Support strategic initiatives, including M&A integration, new reporting standards, and transformation projects.
About You We’re looking for a top‑tier, highly technical finance leader who thrives in a complex, high‑expectation environment.
You will ideally have:
  • 5–6 years post‑qualification experience (ACA/ACCA preferred — Big 4 or top‑tier practice desirable).
  • Strong experience in statutory reporting, consolidation, and IFRS.
  • A track record of operating within a large, complex, or listed business.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to develop and uplift a talented team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the gravitas to engage senior stakeholders and influence at C‑Suite level.
  • A mindset geared toward improvement, challenge, and driving best‑practice reporting.
Why This Role Stands Out
  • High‑visibility position reporting into senior Group leadership.
  • A seat at the table on strategic decision‑making and Board‑level reporting.
  • Opportunity to shape the future of Group reporting within a top‑performing listed organisation.
  • A highly engaged leadership team that invests in high‑potential talent.
  • A dynamic, forward‑thinking culture that rewards excellence and ambition.
