Role title: Programme / Project Planner
- Role: The requirement is for a Programme/Project Planner to deliver specialist planning services as activity increases in preparation for onboarding a construction delivery partner following the competitive dialogue process. The role requires a highly capable planning professional with strong P6 or MS Project expertise, able to independently develop, analyse and maintain multi‑workstream schedules, support budget and forecasting alignment, and provide clear programme insights to enable effective decision‑making. The Planner will operate in a structured, deliverables‑focused manner, providing detailed, high‑quality planning outputs that support the mobilisation and pre‑construction phases, ensuring all workstreams are integrated, dependencies clearly mapped, and planning artefacts are ready for transition to the incoming industry partner in approximately seven months.
- Skills: Proven experience delivering programme and project planning services on complex, multi‑disciplinary programmes, proficiency in developing, maintaining, and analysing integrated schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project, with the ability to structure multi‑workstream programmes logically and robustly.
Highly detail‑oriented with the ability to interrogate data, identify risks, highlight inconsistencies, and provide clear, actionable insights. Strong stakeholder communication skills, able to liaise effectively with technical, operational, and senior programme stakeholders. Ability to support or develop lightweight PMO processes and governance artefacts (RAIDs, reporting cadences, baseline control, etc.).

- Location: Hybrid – 3 days per week on client site in West Burton for initial stage, this will reduce as project progresses
