Head of Finance

Newly created role as Head of Finance within a high growth business offering and exceptional working environment and culture

This exciting opportunity is perfect for a current Finance Manager of Financial Controller looking to take a step up to Head of Finance.
Working closely with the Financial Director you will be responsible for all core reporting duties including Management and financial Accounting whilst creating and improving processes to ensure everything is in good shape to accommodate the ongoing growth and ambition of the business.

Ket accountabilities and duties include:

Development and management of a small team who produce the management accounts and transactional finance.
Developing and improving reporting and processes in order to ensure best in class.
Management of the Audit and maintaining relationships with external bodies.
Fixed Asset Management
Balance sheet control
Statutory Reporting
Cash-flow reporting
Working closely with Financial planning and business partnering and supporting the business with decision making.
Supporting Budgeting and forecasting
Oversight of Credit Control, Payables and receivables.
Ad-hoc project work
The ideal candidate will be qualified and have broad accounting experience and some good exposure to creating, improving and document strong financial controls.
You will be a willing and hands-on individual who will relish the challenge of being on an exciting growth journey. If you have a friendly and sociable personality you will fit in well..
Exposure to FMCG or Retail sectors would be desirable.
