Salary- Up to £43,000 per annum
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting the ongoing management of a large retail property portfolio, including lease renewals, refits, closures and investment appraisals. Working closely with finance, property and operational teams, you will provide clear analysis and insight to support informed decision making at senior level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain lease reporting, including renewals, breaks and negotiations
- Support forecasting and planning cycles with accurate lease data
- Prepare analysis and presentations for investment committees
- Proactively assess store closure risks and provide detailed financial insight
- Track capital expenditure in line with group reporting timelines and policies
- Produce capex and depreciation forecasts
- Enhance reporting to highlight key drivers of spend and support capital allocation decisions
- Deliver monthly reporting and analysis across key P&L lines such as rates, service charges, insurance and property costs
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and explain variances and overspends
- Own and maintain store structure and operating performance reporting
- Review and manage Power BI reports to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Support wider business adoption of BI tools for improved insight and efficiency
- Provide financial support for new stores, relocations, refits and closures
- Support investment appraisals and ad hoc analysis as required
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)
- Strong Excel skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple workstreams and tight deadlines
- Inquisitive, proactive and commercially minded
- Experience within retail or FMCG environments is highly desirable
