Interim Finance Manager

Leeds based client is looking to appoint an interim Finance Manager role to assist whilst they are going through a large global ERP implementation. The Finance Manager  is responsible for leading the Financial Reporting team overseeing statutory reporting in a complex regulated industry, audit readiness, financial reporting, treasury, taxes, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.


Key responsibilities:

• Prepare statutory accounts and ensure compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP
• Lead treasury operations ensuring cash balances are optimised and controlled
• Support treasury operations including liquidity forecasting and banking relationships
• Oversee AP &AR processes
• Manage the Direct Debit process to ensure all collections are executed in a compliant and efficient manner.
• Manage Corporation Tax and indirect tax processes for the group in collaboration with tax resources from the UK Tax Team.
• Ensure adherence to Group INCOME requirements and internal control frameworks.
• Support audit readiness and implementation of control improvements.

 The successful candidate will be available to commence a new role immediately or early Feb at the latest. You will need to be a fully qualified finance professional with strong working knowledge of IFRS & UK GAAP, along with statutory accounts preparation to also manage external audits. You will possess excellent communication, analytical & problem solving skills. It would be highly advantageous to have used SAP & worked with energy, utilities or more regulated sectors.
