Financial Analysis
Ensure robustness of financial planning (forecast, budget,5year strategic plan), and ensuring existing financial data and design processes helps improve the quality of the data and deliver accurate and timely financial analysis to support the business.
· Sales planning tool update and maintenance
· Material Ledger month-end closing in SAP
· Support monthly forecast, annual budget, and Long-term plan
· Undertake various reconciliations to ensure integrity of analytical data to SAP.
· Data cleansing implement processes to improve data quality
Updating and maintaining Value Chain pricing tool through:
Ensuring integrity of underlying data including correct prices, customer terms and robust commercial assumptions as can be reasonably expected
Interface with forecasts to simulate and analyse sales and margin
· Utilise consolidated profitability data to calculate KPIs to help assess performance in decision making and in the approval of quotes.
· Support wider business and in particular Finance, Sales, Commercial and Product Management teams with pricing queries.
· Stock/Direct actual delivery v VC pricing
Maintain adequate controls:
· Ensure amendments to and newly established commercial terms adhere to approval process.
· Undertake checks to verify conformity of terms and prices between SAP, Value Chain, forecasts and simulations.
Assist in continuous development and improvements to Value Chain:
· Undertake regular data cleansing and maintenance of spreadsheets to ensure working efficiently and effectively.
· Support and key involvement in projects to upgrade and migrate Value Chain to new platform
