Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to support the financial health and strategic direction of the business.
Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Manager will oversee day-to-day financial operations, lead a small finance team, and deliver high-quality financial reporting and analysis to support informed decision-making across the organisation. The role will ensure strong financial control, compliance, and governance, while partnering with stakeholders to support commercial performance and business growth.
This position offers exposure to finance transformation, systems development, and strategic projects, making it an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional with both technical expertise and commercial insight.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ownership of monthly management accounts and financial controls
- Leadership and development of a small finance team
- Oversight of compliance, reporting, and governance requirements
- Business partnering with operational and commercial teams
- Contribution to budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Driving continuous improvement in finance processes and systems
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and commercial awareness
- Proven experience leading and developing teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, detail-focused, and improvement-driven mindset
