Our client is looking to hire an interim Accounts Receivable Assistant, on a 6 month contract. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, motivated, and eager to make an impact in a fast-paced environment. Your Role and Responsibilities
- Monitor customer accounts to identify outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.
- Assist in reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Accurately apply incoming payments, including bank transfers and direct debits, to the correct customer accounts.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date records for all accounts receivable transactions.
- Address customer inquiries regarding invoices and account balances promptly and professionally.
- Contribute to the monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes.
- Provide support for AR reporting and assist with ad hoc finance-related tasks when needed.
- Previous experience in an accounts receivable role or providing general finance support.
- A basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Strong focus on attention to detail and maintaining accuracy.
- NetSuite experience is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
